Bonnie Has “IT”

Not to go Title IX on you, but this story blew me away.  In the world of sports you have athletes and then you have those freak athletes with the “it” quality…Bonnie Richardson has the “IT” quality.

You’re probably saying who the heck Bonnie Richardson?  Well Bonnie just won the state title in track, not just for herself, but single handedly won the title for her SCHOOL.  That’s right her school just won the state title and she was the only one that competed at the meet…Nuts right?
Because the meet was over a two day period Bonnie was able to participate in multiple events. She began her rise to the top in the field events winning the high jump, placing second in the long jump, and finishing third in the discus.  The next day, she won the 200 meters and placed 2nd in the 100 giving her a grand total of 42 team points, 6 more than the 2nd place team.

After the meet, Bonnie was happy with her efforts as she held the team trophy, ALONE.
