Do You Cinco?

Because Cinco De Mayo is associated with bucket specials of cervezas, and nacho appetizers, many Gringos think today is the celebration of Mexico’s Independence, that’s not correct.  Cinco de Mayo is a a holiday celebrating the Mexican spirit, the human spirit, the Mexican heritage, and pride.

Led by Gerenal Zaragoza, Mexican forces were out manned and had inferior armourments vs their French adversaries.  Though the outcome looked gloom, these brave soldiers withstood the French forces, and celebrated a victory at the Battle of Puebla.
