Holding on for dear breath with DMC!

From freestyle’n to whiteboy day, Me and DMC do our thing…

There are a handful of celebs that when you’re in their presence you know it’s something special. DMC was one of those cats-what an honor. Known for his work in Run DMC, this super trio took rap/hip hop from the street and brought it to mainstream. So when I had the opportunity to kick with DMC, it made my month. Considering whom he is and what he’s done, he was the most down to dude you could meet. We shot the vid, I showed how white I really am with my crappy freestyle (thank god that wasn’t the challenge) and in the end I beat DMC. After the challenge, we chewed the fat for another good half hour talking about hip hop, the state of hip hop, NYC, history, football, chics, Pink Floyd, and Led Zepplin. In fact, DMC told me when he first heard of Pink Floyd he thought it was one guy, someone set him straight, he listened to them and it blew his mind. Ever since, Floyd has been one of his favorite bands just like yours truly. Enjoy the video, I know you will.
